FAQ

What’s your background?

I'm an environmental artist, scientist, and educator born on the Nordic Coast and raised in the Northern Heartland. I come from loggers and farmers, cooks and seamstresses, Girl Scout leaders and indigenous Sámi: lovers of all things green and dirty and magical who taught me the art of simple, seasonal living.

I’m also an award-winning learning and organizational development consultant. My work is visible in both public and private sectors, including government administrations and corporate universities. I earned my Master of Science in Learning Design and Technology from Purdue University and my Climate Reality Leader certification from former Vice President Al Gore.

What kinds of workshops do you offer?

I offer a diverse range of creative workshops and community seminars on various nature-related topics. My workshops are designed for all skill levels, from beginners looking to explore their skills to more seasoned practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of simple, seasonal living. Specific workshop schedules and themes are regularly updated on my 'Workshops’ page.

Do you offer custom art or design commissions?

Yes, I would be delighted to collaborate on something unique! I specialize in creating unique pieces that resonate with individual visions while reflecting my commitment to environmental themes and regenerative principles. Whether you're interested in a bespoke collage, a personalized floral arrangement, or a unique digital art piece for your space, I invite you to reach out. Please contact me with your ideas and requirements, and we will schedule a chat to explore the possibilities.
